Can I upload images/videos before the event?

Yes, you can upload images and videos starting seven days before the event – as a host and as a guest.

Requirement: The host must have activated the event first. Only then do invitation links become valid and uploads work. The event date itself can no longer be changed after activation.

What is it useful for?
- Preparation: Upload decor, location or setup photos in advance and test the flow with a test image.
- Announcement: Collect greetings, travel photos or countdown pictures from your guests beforehand.
- Photographers: Share the link early so photographers can start right away.

Storage period: Uploads stay available until the end of the storage period. The period always counts from the event date – not from the upload day. Early uploads do not use up extra time.

Difference to joining: Uploading requires that you have already joined the event. See “Can I join an event before the event date?” for the join flow.
